Effects of Arsenic Pollution on the Growth of Typha and the Secretion of N-alkanes in Roots

摘要: 为了探究重金属-砷污染对植物生长及根系分泌正构烷烃的影响,以香蒲(Typha angustifolia L.)作为试验材料,通过室内土培模拟试验研究香蒲叶绿素含量、植物鲜重和根系分泌正构烷烃化合物含量对不同砷污染水平(50 mg·kg-1(低浓度),150 mg·kg-1(中浓度),600 mg·kg-1(高浓度))的响应差异,为土壤重金属污染植物修复技术提供理论依据。结果表明:低、中浓度砷污染处理条件下,叶绿素和生物量均高于空白对照(CK),而高浓度处理条件下叶绿素和生物量均低于CK;砷污染促进香蒲根系正构烷烃化合物的分泌;检测到的11种正构烷烃类化合物,在种类上没有明显的长短碳链优势,在浓度上长链正构烷烃化合物在各生境中均表现出极大的优势地位;相关性分析表明,香蒲根系分泌正构烷烃化合物浓度与植物地下部分生物量和叶绿素a之间呈显著或极显著正相关关系。综上所述,香蒲是一种砷耐受型植物,其主要通过增加各部分生物量、叶绿素含量和根系正构烷烃化合物的分泌来提高抗胁迫能力。

Abstract: This study was aimed to explore the effects of arsenic pollution on plant growth and roots secretion of n-alkanes,explore the role of n-alkanes in heavy metal stress,and provide a theoretical basis for soil heavy metal pollution phytoremediation technology. The chlorophyll content,plant fresh weight and root secretion of n-alkanes compounds of Typha angustifolia L. in response to different concentrations of arsenic pollutant (50,150,600 mg·kg-1,recorded as low,medium and high) were analyzed under indoor soil culture. The results showed that compared with blank control (CK),under low and medium concentration arsenic pollution treatment,chlorophyll and biomass were higher than CK,while in high concentration,chlorophyll and biomass were both lower than CK;Arsenic pollution promoted the secretion of n-alkane compounds from Typha roots. Under the treatment of arsenic pollution among the 11 types of n-alkane compounds,there was no obvious long-chain or short-chain carbon chain advantage. In terms of concentration,the long-chain n-alkane compounds showed a great advantage in each habitat;Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant or extremely significant positive correlation between the concentration of n-alkane compounds secreted by Typha roots and the biomass and chlorophyll a. The data indicates that Typha is an arsenic-tolerant plant,which mainly improves the stress resistance ability by increasing the biomass of various parts,the content of chlorophyll and the secretion of n-alkane compounds in the root system.
