Abstract: This paper is the author's further study on the effect and water-salt druamics using three treatments of furrow-ridge culture to improve high salinized desert grassland in two-year resarch. The result showed that ridge accumulated salt and furrow reduced it.In the three treatments, one of the furrow width of 100cm:ridge width of 50cm was the optimum for forage growth. The water-salt dynamics of this kind of furrow-ridge treatmeat was:during nonitrigation period, salt content of ridge accumulated gradually, while furrow salt content decreased to some degrees. But after June 4, the upper layer of furrow began to accumulate salt by the effect of temperature.During irrigation period, all layers of ridge accumulated salt after being irrigated, especially in 0~ 5cm layer, 5 ~7 days later, it would reach a higher content of salt, then, the changes became slower, Salt content of furrow rapidly reduced in 0 ~20cm layer after irrigation, but accumulated below 20cm of the soil, and then, salt moved to the surface of the soil. After treatment, vegetations were obviously changed compared with the original ones.
