植被性状对高原鼠兔行为模式的影响

Effects of Vegetation Traits on the Behavior Patterns of Plateau Pika

摘要:

将高原鼠兔的日常行为划分为采食、警戒、嬉戏和洞内滞留4个类型,选取植被高度、盖度和地上生物量3个代表性指标反映草地植被性状的变化,探讨了植被性状与高原鼠兔(Ochotona curzoniae)行为模式的对应关系。结果表明,植被高度、盖度和生物量的增加可导致高原鼠兔洞内滞留和警戒时间增加,采食和嬉戏时间减少;高原鼠兔的某些行为对植被性状各主要指标变化应对反映有一个由量变到质变的临界点或临界范围,在此临界点或临界范围之前和之后,高原鼠兔对植被环境的感受会发生质的改变;采食时间与洞内滞留时间的比值(G/H)越小,表明植被环境的胁迫压力越大,反之则越小;植被高度对高原鼠兔生境的影响力大于盖度和生物量。

Abstract:

The daily behavior of plateau pika can be divided into four types, including feeding, alerting, playing and staying in holes. The relationships between three vegetation traits (height, coverage and biomass) and daily behavior patterns of plateau pika were investigated using field observation. The results showed that the increase of plant height, coverage and biomass led to the increase of the time of staying in hole and alerting of plateau pika, and the decrease of feeding and play time. A critical point from quantitative changes to qualitative changes existed between vegetation traits and behavior response of plateau pikas. The response of plateau pika to vegetation environment might change differently as this critical point exceeded. The smaller the ratio of feeding time and staying in holes was, the greater the stress force of vegetation environment, and vice versa. The effect of vegetation height on pika habitat was greater than that of vegetation coverage and biomass.
