草地反射太阳光偏振特性测量个例分析

摘要: 本文在中国科学院植物研究所内蒙古草原定位研究站对羊草和苔草样方进行太阳反射光偏振特性的测量。结果表明,天然草样偏振测量实例,在一定程度上体现植被所具有的、而仅用强度反射测量所不能得到的镜面反射特征。对草原遥感采用偏振测量,可以得到有别于强度测量的独特信息。本文涉及的两种类型草种样方的反射光偏振度均明显小于已有的其它植被偏振测量结果。今后在草原遥感中引入偏振测量手段是具有应用价值的。

Abstract: During the IMGRASS(Inner Mongolia Grassland-Atmosphere-Surface Study)summercampaign in 1998,the polarization characteristics of reflected sunlight by natural steppe canopies were mea-sured with IAP polarimeter.Two cases were reportd and analyzed herein,one for Leymus chinensis and theother for Carex korshinskii.Polarization degrees of reflected sunlight for the two cases were found to be ob-viously smaller than the published ones for other canopies at similar viewing geometric conditions.And thespecular reflecting characteristics of vegetation were reproduced to some extent for the cases hereof,whichcouldn't be available by photometric measurement alone.In conclusion,as for passive light remote sensingof grassland,polarimetry may be useful for additional information that is not obtainable or difficult to ob-tain from photometry alone,so more effort shoule be done.
