Morphology and Economic Characteristics Between Hybrid of Sudan Grass and Sorghum

Abstract: Black glume Sudan grass that isolated breeding and screening a few years was selected as female parent,'Tongza No.2’sorghum was selected as male parent hybridized with black Sudan grass in same year.After 4 generations of breeding,the hybrid showed lodging resistance,drought resistence,disease resistance,plant was thicker and taller than sudan grass,and the leaf blade was broader and longer,the adaptability was widened.The morphological character of hybrid was evidently differ from parents.The paper has summarized main morphology features,biological and economic characteristics of the hybrid.

摘要： 以黑颖苏丹草作母本与父本同杂2号高粱杂交。通过 4代选育,结果表明,杂种后代表现抗倒伏、耐旱、抗病、植株粗壮、高大、叶片宽而长,适应性较广。其形态特征与父母本相比具有明显差异。
