A Study on Leucaena Varietal Resistance to the Leucaena Psyllid

银合欢品系对异木虱抗性的研究

Abstract: Leucaena Psyllia,Heteropsylla cubana Crawford,is the most important pest on leucaena and it threatenes the leucaena production in Asia-pacific area in recently years.The result of the study on leucaena varietal resistance to the psyllid indicates that Leucaena pallida K376 and L.diversifolia Bray 2(CPI# 46 568)showed high resistance to leucaena psyllid; L.collinsii K740,and L.diversifolia K784 showed middle resistance;and the L.leucocephala SCATA, K636 and K584 were very susceptible to the psyllid during our experiment.L.diversifolia Bray 2 and L.collinssi K740, possess the property of high yielding with resistance to the pest and they can be used as animal feed production.L.leucocephala K636 has good recovering property with high biomass though it is susceptible to the leucaena psyllid,and the variety rnay be suitable for forage production so as the proper control measures against the psyllid are applied.

摘要: 近年来,银合欢异木虱(Heteropsylla cubana Crawford)已成为亚太地区银合欢生产中一种最重要的害虫。银合欢品系对异木虱的抗性研究结果表明:灰白银合次K376(Leucanena pallida)和异叶银合欢Bray2( CPI# 46568)具有高度的抗虫性;柯氏银合欢K740(Leucaenacollinsii)、异叶银合欢K784具有中等抗虫性;热研1号银合欢、K636、K584(均为Leucaena leucocphala)为高度感虫品系。Brsy2、K740具有抗虫丰产性能,可作为饲用;K636。虽然虫口级数和虫害级数较高,但生长快,再生能力强,生物产量高,属耐虫害品系,适用于饲料生产,只要积极采取生物防治措施,也可望获得高产而优质的饲料。
