Physiological Response of Creeping Dichondra Herb to Drought Stress

马蹄金草坪草对干旱胁迫的生理响应研究

Abstract: The physiological response mechanism of creeping dichondra herb under drought stress for 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 days was studied in pot experiment with different irrigation grades. Results indicated the contents of leaf relative water and chlorophyll decreased, whereas the contents of MDA, soluble sugar and Pro increased, and the activity of SOD increased first then decreased significantly. The highest change amount was occurred within 12 to 16 days. Therefore, creeping dichondra herb was resistant to drought stress, but it still needed to be watered after drought stress for 12 days, otherwise it would be withered and then died.

摘要: 为明确马蹄金(Dichondra repens Forst) 对干旱胁迫的生理响应机理,采用盆栽法研究不同灌溉梯度下马蹄金草坪草叶片相对含水量、丙二醛、可溶性糖、叶绿素、游离脯氨酸的含量和超氧化物歧化酶活性的变化,探讨马蹄金草坪草的抗旱性问题,为马蹄金草坪的建植和养护管理提供依据。结果表明:干旱胁迫下马蹄金叶片相对含水量和叶绿素含量显著下降,超氧化物歧化酶活性呈先急剧增加,后又急剧下降的变化趋势,丙二醛、可溶性糖和游离脯氨酸的含量显著上升,以胁迫12~16 d下降或上升幅度最大。因此,马蹄金对干旱胁迫表现为一定的耐旱性,但干旱胁迫到一定程度(胁迫12 d左右),需对其进行浇水养护,防止其萎蔫枯黄。
