Study on Nutritional Components and Mineral Elements Content of Three Artemisia Species in Tibet

西藏3种蒿属植物营养成分与矿物质元素含量研究

Abstract: The contents of conventional nutrients,amino acids and mineral elements of three Artemisia Species-Artemisia wellbyi,Artemisia sieversiana and Artemisia annua from Tibet were determined by national standard method. The results showed that the contents of crude fat,crude protein,crude fiber and crude ash among the three Artemisia species were different. The crude protein content showed significant differences among the three species (P<0.05),with the highest in Artemisia sieversiana (3.34%) and the lowest in Artemisia annua (2.01%). Additionally,the content of mineral elements was also different. For all the three species,the potassium content was the highest and the magnesium content was the lowest in major mineral elements,and the iron content was the highest and the selenium content was the lowest in trace mineral elements. All these three species contain 16 water-soluble amino acids,the highest content of the total amino acid was found in Artemisia sieversiana (17.59%) and the lowest in Artemisia annua (7.99%). Therefore,Artemisia wellbyi,Artemisia sieversiana and Artemisia annua can be used as reserve grass for cattle,sheep and other livestock,during the pasture shortage period,in Tibet. The nutritional value of Artemisia sieversiana is more comprehensive compared to the other two species.

摘要: 本试验采用国标法对西藏3种蒿属植物藏沙蒿(Artemisia wellbyi)、大籽蒿(Artemisia sieversiana)和青蒿(Artemisia annua)的主要营养物质、氨基酸和矿物质元素含量进行测定。结果显示:3种蒿属植物的粗脂肪、粗蛋白、粗纤维、粗灰分含量差别较大,大籽蒿粗蛋白含量最高(3.34%),青蒿最低(2.01%),相互间差异显著(P<0.05);矿物质元素含量差别也较大,常量矿物质元素中,三者均是钾含量最高,镁含量最低;微量矿物质元素中,三者均是铁含量最高,硒含量最低;3种植物均含有16种水溶性氨基酸,大籽蒿氨基酸总量最高(17.59%),青蒿的最低(7.99%)。因此,在牧草匮乏季节,藏沙蒿、大籽蒿和青蒿均可作为西藏后备牧草,供牛羊等牲畜饲用,其中大籽蒿营养价值更为全面。
