Impacts of Stocking Rate on the Spatial Distribution of Soil Nutrients in the Vicinity of Ceratoides latens

载畜率对驼绒藜邻近土壤养分空间分布的影响

Abstract: Overgrazing in desert steppe leads to a significant decline in soil ecological capacity. As an important species in desert steppe, Ceratoides latens plays an important role in the soil nutrient maintenance. The purpose of this study was to reveal the effects of stocking rate and spatial factors on soil nutrients in the vicinity of Ceratoides latens. The experiment was carried out in the desert steppe of Siziwang Banner, Inner Mongolia. Four stocking rate treatments were set up in the control area: CK [0 sheep·hm-2·(0.5a)-1], light grazing LG [0.93 sheep·hm-2·(0.5a)-1], moderate grazing MG [1.82 sheep·hm-2·(0.5a)-1], and heavy grazing HG [2.71 sheep·hm-2·(0.5a)-1]. Each plot was centered on Ceratoides latens, and a sampling point was set every 0.25 m in the four directions of east, west, south, and north. Soil organic carbon, alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium were measured, and the spatial distribution characteristics were analyzed. The results showed that with the increase of stocking rate, the soil nutrient content decreased significantly (P<0.05), and the soil organic carbon content was the highest at 0.5 m away from Ceratoides latens in the LG area. Organic carbon and available potassium were the highest at 0.25 m on the west side, while available phosphorus was enriched at 0.5 m on the east side. In the HG area, direction was significantly negatively correlated with available potassium, and distance was significantly negatively correlated with alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen (P<0.05). Ceratoides latens had strong nutrient enrichment ability under light grazing, while heavy grazing significantly destroyed this function.

摘要: 荒漠草原过度放牧导致土壤生态能力显著下降。驼绒藜(Ceratoides latens)作为荒漠草原的重要物种对土壤养分维持具有重要作用。本研究旨在揭示载畜率与空间因素对驼绒藜邻近土壤养分的影响。试验在内蒙古四子王旗荒漠草原进行,设置对照区CK[0 sheep·hm-2·(0.5a-1)]、轻度放牧LG[0.93 sheep·hm-2·(0.5a-1)]、中度放牧MG[1.82 sheep·hm-2·(0.5a-1)]和重度放牧HG[2.71 sheep·hm-2·(0.5a-1)]四个载畜率处理。每个小区内以驼绒藜为中心,在东、西、南、北四个方向上每0.25 m设置1个取样点,测定土壤有机碳、碱解氮、速效磷和速效钾并分析空间分布特征。结果显示,随着载畜率的升高,土壤养分含量均显著降低(P<0.05),LG区距驼绒藜0.5 m处土壤有机碳含量最高。有机碳与速效钾在西侧0.25 m处最高,速效磷在东侧0.5 m处富集。在HG区,方向与速效钾、距离与碱解氮呈显著负相关(P<0.05)。轻度放牧下驼绒藜具有较强的养分富集能力,而重度放牧显著破坏了这一功能。
