Abstract: Results of the study on available nutrients to linked two-ramets of buffalograss (Buchloë dactyloides) indicate that the first-growing ramets are benefited immensely from the next-growing ramets, but the latter are not repaid by the former which are the unidirectional beneficiary. The root biomass and height of the later-growing ramets apparently rise faster than those of the earlier-growing ramets. Contrarily, the tiller node biomass, 1st stolon biomass, 1st stolon node number, and 1st stolon length of the first-emerging ramets grow quicker than those of the later-growing ramets. However, the next-growing ramets can be benefited from the first-growing ones in the tiller node biomass and the longest 1st stolon.
