Genetic Parameter of Buffalograss' Leaf Color and Extent of Turning Yellow

野牛草叶片枯黄程度及叶片颜色的遗传参数测定

Abstract: Eight buffalograss (Buchloe dactyloides (Nutt.) Engelm)plants of stable shape and properties were selected to prepare 16 hydridized combinations by incomplete diallel crossing. The process of the grass leaf turning yellow,and during which the leaf color heritability and combination ability were analyzed. The result shows that the leaf color of materials of serial number 0 and 62 exhibit the highest general combination ability,indicating that they are good choices as parent materials for breeding buffalograss of pleasanter leaf color when the leaves begin to turn yellow. The low general and the high special combination abilities of these two materials leaves' extent of turing yellow show their superior quality. The result also shows that 72.89% of the leaf color of materials of serial number 0 and 62 come from that of parent materials.

摘要: 选用8个性状稳定的野牛草材料,采用不完全双列杂交试验设计,配制了16个杂交组合,分析了叶片枯黄程度、枯黄过程中叶片颜色遗传力及配合力.结果表明:0号和62号材料的叶片颜色的一般配合力较高,利用它们作亲本较易选出枯黄过程中叶片颜色较好的野牛草材料;叶片枯黄程度的一般配合力较小,但其特殊配合力较高;叶片颜色的遗传力为72.89%.
