黄土高原云雾山长期封育草地灌丛化空间分布格局

Spatial Pattern of Shrub Patches in a Grassland Fenced for a Long-term in Yunwu Mountain on the Loess Plateau

摘要: 我国北方草地普遍发生的灌丛化对草地生态系统结构和功能可产生重要影响,研究灌丛斑块的数量特征和空间分布格局有助于深入理解灌丛化的生态过程和识别草地生态系统的状态变化。本研究采用野外样方法和坐标定位法实地调查分析黄土高原长期封育草地灌丛斑块的数量特征和空间分布格局。结果显示:白莲蒿和短脚锦鸡儿灌丛斑块覆盖度分别为20.3%~61.7%和7.4%~35.8%,灌丛生物量分别是草本生物量的3.1和4.3倍。白莲蒿和短脚锦鸡儿灌丛斑块呈右偏尾分布,灌丛斑块面积和概率在对数尺度上呈现线性关系,灌丛斑块大小分布符合幂律。92.0%的白莲蒿灌丛斑块和87.4%的短脚锦鸡儿灌丛斑块将会增大;8.0%的白莲蒿灌丛斑块和12.6%的短脚锦鸡儿灌丛斑块将会破碎。研究表明,黄土高原长期封育草地发生了灌丛化,处于生态系统状态转变的敏感期。在持续封育恢复下灌丛斑块将会继续扩张,草地灌丛化加剧。

Abstract: Shrub encroachment is increasing widely across the northern grasslands in China,which have a profound influence on the structure and functions of grassland ecosystems. Exploring the quantitative characteristics and spatial pattern of shrub patches would be helpful to understand the ecological process of shrubification,and to identify the status shift in grassland ecosystems. In this study,both quantitative characteristics and spatial pattern of shrub patches in a grassland fenced for a long-term on the Loess Plateau were investigated and analyzed by field quadrat sampling and coordinate positioning methods. The results showed that:The coverage of Artemisia sacrorum and Caragana brachypoda shrub patches was 20.3%~61.7% and 7.4%~35.8%,respectively;shrub biomass was about 3.1 times and 4.3 times of herb biomass,respectively. The spatial distribution of shrub patches of A. sacrorum and C. brachypoda showed a right partial pattern. The patch size and its probability showed a linear relationship on the logarithmic scale,indicating that shrub patch size distribution conformed to the power law. 92.0% of A. sacrorum and 87.4% of C. brachypoda shrub patches would expand,while 8.0% of Artemisia sacrorum and 12.6% of Caragana brachypoda shrub patches would be broken as the prolongation of enclosure maintance,respectively. This study showed that shrub encroachment has occurred in the grassland fenced for a long-term on the Loess Plateau,which is prone to the transformation of ecosystem state. Overall,the shrubification would be intensified along with the ongoing-fencing in the time-coming.
