Abstract: After experiencing a difficult period, Chinese grassland industry is developing vigorously at present. This paper analysed the present situation of Chinese grassland industry, clarified the importance of grassland industry as a priority industry, disscussed the facing big problems and reasons of Chinese grassland industry and pointed out strategy conception of grassland industry development of our country during a period in order to provide some references for western development, returning to forestry and grassland from crops and adjusting agriculture structure.

摘要： 中国草业的发展走过了一段非常艰难的道路,目前正处于一个蓬勃发展的时期。笔者以分析中国草业发展现状为切入点,阐明了草业作为优先发展产业的重要意义;同时,还就中国草业发展中面临的重大问题及成因进行论述,并在此基础上提出未来一段时期我国草业发展的战略构想,旨在为西部开发,退耕还林还草及农业结构调整提供参考。
