Evaluation on Agronomic Characters of Five Materials of Elymus L.in Alpine Area

Abstract: In order to select accessions for promising forage varieties,the agronomic characters and productivity of five wild Elymus L.accessions collected in different altitudes of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau were evaluated in Xining.Results show that material D collected in alpine grassland(3519 m a.s.l.) is top-grass with early maturing(90 d).It can be domesticated to a high forage variety due to their good production performances.Material E collected in alpine grassland(3246 m a.s.l.) is short plant type with high-density stems and leaves as well as good palatability and can be domesticated to a variety of grazing grass.

摘要: 对采自青海省不同海拔和草场类型的5份野生披碱草属(Elymus L.)材料进行农艺学性状和生产性能评价,为青藏高原高寒地区筛选育种材料提供理论依据。结果表明:采自高寒草原海拔3519m的材料D属上繁型高禾草,早熟(90d),且表现出较好的生产性能,可作为饲草型牧草进行选育;采自高寒草原3246m的材料E株型低矮,茎叶分布集中,适口性好,可作为放牧型牧草进行选育。
