Estimating Hay Yield and Agronomic Traits of Bothriochloa ischaemum (L.) Using Multivariate Linear Regression and Path Analysis

白羊草干草产量与主要农艺性状的多元回归及通径分析

Abstract: In order to search traits affecting the hay yield of Bothriochloa ischaemum (L.) Keng and provide a basis for breeding high yield of B. ischaemum varieties, hay yield and seven agronomic traits were evaluated by correlative analysis, multivariate linear regression and path analysis. Results showed that plant height, significant positive correlation with hay yield (P<0.01) and having the biggest direct effect (P=0.986) and highest correlation coefficient (r=0.774) with hay yield among all the agronomic traits, was the major determinant trait of hay yield. When breeding the high yield varieties of B. ischaemum, plants were selected first according to plant heights.

摘要: 对10个不同居群白羊草(Bothriochloa ischaemum (L.) Keng)的干草产量与千粒重、青绿期、株高、节间长、茎粗、花序重和茎叶比共7个主要农艺性状进行了相关性分析、多元回归分析和通径分析,以探寻影响白羊草干草产量的主要农艺性状,为选育高产白羊草品种提供科学依据。结果表明:株高与干草产量成极显著正相关(P<0.01),而且株高对干草产量的直接作用最大(P=0.986),相关系数最高(r=0.774)。因此,株高是决定干草产量的主要农艺性状,选育白羊草高产品种时可首先根据株高对植株进行筛选。
