Effect of Foliar Application Brassinolide on the Growth and Seed Production of Alfalfa

叶面喷施芸苔素内酯对紫花苜蓿生长发育和种子产量的影响

Abstract:

Foliar spray of different concentrations of 0.25‰, 0.50‰, 0.67‰ and 1.00‰ brassinolide solution was applied to alfalfa (Medicago sativa) at flowering stage. Their effects on alfalfa growing development, seed yield and quality were studied. The founding could provide a scientific basis for alfalfa seed production. The results showed that:the appropriate concentration of brassinolide treatments significantly increased the relative chlorophyll content of leaves, the number of inflorescence per plant, reproductive allocation at growth stages, plant height, the base stem diameter, the pod weight per plant, seed yield at harvest stage, and germination vigor. The best effect was at the concentration of 0.67‰ brassinolide. The number of inflorescence per plant was the highest, seed yield was as high as 251.82 kg·hm-2, increased by 78.27% than contrast. Comprehensively, the effect of a concentration of 0.67‰ brassinolide treatment was the best, which promoted alfalfa growth and development, improved seed yield and quality, the second best effect was the concentration of 0.50%.

摘要:

在紫花苜蓿(Medicago sativa)花期叶面喷施浓度为0.25‰,0.50‰,0.67‰和1.00‰的芸苔素内酯溶液,研究其对苜蓿生长发育、种子产量和质量的影响效果,旨为苜蓿种子生产提供科学依据。结果表明:适宜浓度芸苔素内酯溶液处理显著提高了生长阶段的叶片相对叶绿素含量、单株花序数量、生殖分配、收获期株高、主茎基部直径、单株荚果重以及种子产量和发芽势。其中浓度0.67‰处理,单株花序数最高,种子产量高达251.82 kg·hm-2,较对照增产78.27%。综合考虑,以浓度0.67‰处理效果最佳,对促进苜蓿的生长发育,提高种子产量和质量效果最好,0.50‰浓度效果次之。
