Soil Moisture Simulation and Error Analysis in Arid Area of China Based on CoLM Model

基于CoLM模式的干旱区土壤湿度模拟试验与误差分析

Abstract:

Soil moisture simulation is very important for the soil moisture forecasting, regulation and understanding of soil moisture spatial variation mechanism. The Yutian county oasis was selected as a typical region in arid area, point simulations of soil moisture were carried out based on the CoLM model, and the validation of simulation result was conducted using observation soil moisture data, then we analyzed the soil moisture simulation accuracy of CoLM model. The research showed that there was a significant correlation between the soil moisture simulation results of CoLM model and monitoring soil moisture data, but the soil moisture simulation accuracy was not very high, and CoLM fitted the soil moisture simulation of Arid area to some extent. Furthermore, simulation error analysis was conducted, and it showed that groundwater level and soil evapotranspiration had significant effect on spatial variation of soil moisture in the study area, but the atmospheric forcing data of CoLM model had not significant effect on spatial variation of soil moisture. In addition, the accuracy of the atmospheric forcing data of CoLM model might have an effect on the simulation accuracy of CoLM model.

摘要:

以典型干旱区新疆于田绿洲为研究区,基于CoLM模式的点模拟方式模拟了研究区土壤湿度状况,利用地面监测数据对模拟结果进行了对比验证,对模型模拟误差进行了分析。研究结果表明,CoLM模式模拟的表层土壤湿度状况与地面监测土壤湿度数据有显著且有较好的相关性,CoLM模型用于干旱区土壤湿度模拟具有一定适宜性,但模拟精度需要进一步提高。模拟结果误差分析表明地下水位和土壤蒸散发量对研究区土壤水分时空变化影响显著,这是影响该区域CoLM模式土壤湿度模拟精度的主要因素。
