Ratio of Dominant Soil and Water Conservation Plants in Catchment of Loess Hilly Region Based on CATS Model

基于CATS模型的黄土丘陵小流域优势水土保持植物配比

Abstract: The surface of the Loess Plateau is broken with thousands of gullies. The problem of soil and water loss there is very serious,affecting the development of the economy and society. The model method can accurately and quantitatively select plant species for vegetation restoration in the Loess Plateau region,and provide appropriate species ratios. This study utilized a research method based on plant functional traits to construct a Community Assembly by Trait Selection (CATS) model to predict plant species and their community species ratios for the community to be restored in the Yangjuangou catchment in the Loess Plateau. The results showed that Artemisia sacrorum and Stipa grandis in the study area had better control effects on soil and nutrient loss,and when the relative abundance ratio of the two species was 3∶2,the effect on soil and water conservation and nutrient fixation was the best. This study obtained accurate restoration plant species and their relative abundance ratio through CATS models,which had certain scientific significance and could provide a certain reference for ecological restoration work on the Loess Plateau.

摘要: 黄土高原地表破碎,沟壑纵横,水土流失严重。模型方法可以精确定量选取黄土高原地区恢复植被的物种,并提供适宜的物种配比。本研究利用基于植物功能性状的研究方法,通过构建植物功能性状(Community assembly by trait selection,CATS)模型,对黄土丘陵羊圈沟小流域待恢复群落植物种类及其群落物种配比进行了预测。结果表明,研究区白莲蒿(Artemisia sacrorum)和大针茅(Stipa grandis)对土壤和养分流失的治理效果比较好,且二者相对多度比为3∶2时,水土保持和养分固持的效果最好。本研究通过CATS模型获得精确的恢复植物种类及其相对多度比,具有一定的科学意义并能够为黄土高原的生态修复工作提供一定的参考。
