Abstract: This study aimed to explore intercropping of Hunan millet and soybean in saline-alkali soils. By assessing the photosynthetic characteristics and agronomic performance， the optimal intercropping pattern was identified， providing new solutions for the development and utilization of saline-alkali land. The study included six planting patterns： Hunan millet sole crop （HS）， soybean sole crop （DS）， 2∶2 （H₂D₂）， 2∶4 （H₂D₄）， 4∶2 （H₄D₂）， and 4∶4 （H₄D₄）. The photosynthetic characteristics， agronomic performance， and nutritional quality of Hunan millet were comprehensively evaluated to determine the best intercropping configuration. The results showed that intercropping significantly promoted the growth of both Hunan millet and soybean. Among the intercropping patterns， the land equivalent ratios （LER） of H₂D₄， H₄D₂， and H₄D₄ were greater than 1， with H₂D₄ showing the highest LER of 1.18. Under the H₂D₄ treatment， the net photosynthetic rate （Pn） of Hunan millet was 45.6 μmol·m^-2·s^-1， stomatal conductance （Gs） was 0.0518 mol·m^-2·s^-1， and transpiration rate （Tr） was 3.36 mmol·m^-2·s^-1， all of which were superior to those of the sole crop. Additionally， Hunan millet under the H₂D₄ treatment showed optimal nutritional quality， crude protein content reaching 10.03%， and other indicators such as crude ash， crude fat， acid detergent fiber， neutral detergent fiber， and relative feed value all performed well. Principal component analysis further confirmed that the H₂D₄ pattern performed the best overall. This intercropping configuration promoted an ideal light environment within the plant canopy， leading to enhanced both yield and quality of Hunan millet and soybean.

摘要： 本研究旨在探讨湖南稷子（Echinochloa frumentacea）与大豆（Glycine max）在盐碱地中间作，通过光合作用特性及生产性能的测定，确立最优间作模式，为盐碱地的开发利用提供新的解决方案。本研究设置湖南稷子单作（HS），大豆单作（DS），湖南稷子和大豆间作2∶2种植（H₂D₂），2∶4种植（H₂D₄），4∶2种植（H₄D₂）和4∶4种植（H₄D₄）共6个种植模式，通过对这两种作物的光合作用特性、生产性能以及湖南稷子的营养品质进行综合评估，以期获得最优的间作配置。研究结果显示，间作模式显著促进了湖南稷子和大豆的生长状况。间作行比下，H₂D₄，H₄D₂，H₄D₄土地当量比均大于1，其中 H₂D₄土地当量比最高，为1.18；在H₂D₄处理下，湖南稷子的净光合速率（Pn）为45.6 μmol·m^-2·s^-1，气孔导度（Gs）为0.0518 mol·m^-2·s^-1，蒸腾速率（Tr）为3.36 mmol·m^-2·s^-1，均较单作表现优异，同时，H₂D₄处理下的湖南稷子在营养品质方面也表现最优，粗蛋白含量高达10.03%，且粗灰分、粗脂肪、酸性洗涤纤维、中性洗涤纤维以及相对饲用价值等指标均表现良好。通过主成分分析进一步验证，H₂D₄模式综合表现最佳，该间作行比配置有利于营造理想的群体冠层内部光环境，从而实现了湖南稷子产量品质与大豆产量的双重提升。
