Influence of Sulfur Fertilizer on Productivety of Herbage and Performance of Chinese Merino fine Sheep (Wether) in Inner Mongolia Steppe

硫肥对内蒙古典型草原牧草产量和品质及绵羊生产的影响

Abstract: The experiment was conducted at IMGERS during l995~l995.The soil type of experi-mental field is sandy chestnut.The organic matter was about 1.5 % and available sulfur was no more than8ppm in the top of 0~30cm soil.The sulfur fertilizer of 0、30 and 60 kg S (CaSO42H2O) were applied to be samle sites fenced Of 1 hm2 in May 1995.The stocking raes were 4 sheep/hm2.The biomass ofaborve-and underground for communities, the biomass of aboveground for main population of herbages andpeiformances of sheep were measured.The concentrations of N, P, S, K were analysed in Lermus chinesis ,Agropyron cristatun, Cleistognes Carex duriuscula, Artimisia frigida, Medicago ruthenica, Potentilla a-caulis and Allium bidenlatum.The results showed that sulfur fertilizer can increase productiveties of commuities of pasture and mainpopulations, such as Leymus chinense and Artemisia frigida.The concentraions of Swere increased sig-nificantly except Cleistogenes squarrosa and Potensilla acaulis.The concentrations of pwere increased significantly except Medicago ruthenica and of K were varied with different herbages;but the concentrationof N were almost not responsed.There were no significant difference on daily average gain and intake of dry matter, but the apparentdigestion of DM can be increased;the absolute length of wool were increased by 11.45 % and 13.69%,respectively;the net weight of wool were increased by 20.37 % and 25.93 %, respectively;the qualities of wool such as fine degree and strength were improved significantly.

摘要: 该试验于1995-1996年在内蒙古草原生态系统定位研究站进行。土壤类型为沙质栗钙土,0-30cm土层有机质含量1.50%左右,有效硫含量8ppm分别设在三块1hm2的围栏样地,1995年5月一次性施入0、30和60kg硫肥(CaSO4.2H2O),分别定期测试草原群落生产力、主要草种地上生物量以及1.5岁内蒙古细毛羊(羯羊)的体重和羊毛等生产性能。结果表明,在雨水较充足的年份(如1996年),施硫肥可以提高草原生产力,其中尤以羊草和冷蒿显著,同时改善了牧草的品质,提高其含硫量,其中羊草、冰草等六种牧草的含硫量提高明显,含P量也普遍提高;而含K量除星毛萎陵菜有所降低外,其余的均有明显提高。对含N量的影响不大,牧草中的N:S比有所下降。硫肥对绵羊的生产性能影响较大。硫肥提高了牧草的消化率,加快了羊毛的生长速度,与对照相比,两种施S肥的羊毛绝对长度分别提高了11.45%和13.69%,净毛产量提高了20.37%和25.93%,显著地改善了羊毛的细度和强伸度,而绵羊的来食量和日增重无显著差异。
