Effects of Salicylic Acid and Gibberellin Pretreatment on Seeds Germination of Hyssopus officinalis under NaCl Stress

Abstract: This study was aimed to explore the induction effect of salicylic acid (SA) and gibberellin (GA) on the salt tolerance of Hyssopus officinalis seeds and the optimal concentration. In this experiment,Hyssopus officinalis seeds pretreated with different concentrations of SA(0,0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8 mmol·L-1) and GA(0,0.3,0.6,0.9,1.2 mmol·L-1) were used as test materials,and the sprouting method of culture paper was used to study the effects of two hormone pretreatments on seed germination and growth indexes under different concentrations (0,50,100,150,200 mmol·L-1) of NaCl stress. The results showed that both SA and GA improved the germination characteristics of Hyssopus officinalis seeds under NaCl stress. The germination indexes of SA pretreated seeds showed a downward trend with the increase of SA concentration,and 0.2 mmol·L-1 had the best effect on improving the germination index and vitality index of seeds;However,after GA pretreatment,it increased first and then decreased,and 0.6 mmol·L-1 had the best alleviation effect on seed germination potential and plumule length. According to the membership function method of fuzzy mathematics,0.6 mmol·L-1 GA pretreatment was the best concentration to improve the salt tolerance of Hyssopus officinalis among different concentrations of NaCl stress.

摘要: 为探索水杨酸(Salicylic acid,SA)和赤霉素(Gibberellin,GA)对神香草种子耐盐性的诱导作用及最佳浓度,本试验分别以0,0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8 mmol·L-1 SA和0,0.3,0.6,0.9,1.2 mmol·L-1 GA预处理后的神香草种子为试验材料,采用培养皿纸上发芽法,研究两种激素预处理对不同浓度(0,50,100,150,200 mmol·L-1)NaCl胁迫下种子萌发、生长指标的影响。结果表明:SA和GA均能提高NaCl胁迫下神香草种子的萌发特性,经SA预处理的种子发芽指标随SA浓度上升呈下降趋势,以0.2 mmol·L-1对种子发芽指数、活力指数等提升效果最好;而经GA预处理后则呈先上升后下降趋势,以0.6 mmol·L-1对种子发芽势、胚芽长等缓解效果最好。通过模糊数学隶属函数法得出,在不同浓度NaCl胁迫下,0.6 mmol·L-1 GA预处理是提高神香草耐盐性的最佳浓度。
