Abstract: To understand the effect of Trichoderma longibrachiatum on promoting growth and physiology indices of forage seed, seeds and seedlings of 3 forage grass varieties and 3 leguminous grass varieties were treated by the spore suspension of T. longibrachiatum strain T6 and seed morphological and seedling physiology indices were analyzed. Results showed that the spore suspension of T. longibrachiatum strain T6 could significantly promote forage seed germination rate, growth of the seedlings and affect physiological indicators compared with control (P<0.05). Except for the malondialdehyde contents, the chlorophyll, protein and soluble sugar contents as well as root, peroxidase and phenylalanine enzyme activities of treated seeds were significantly higher than that of control (P<0.05). These studies suggested that T. longibrachiatum strain T6 had obvious growth-promoting effects. The optimum concentration for promoting was 1?106 spores穖L-1.
