长江口湿地氮施加对海三棱藨草生长及生理特性的影响

Effects of Nitrogen Addition on Growth and Physiological Characters of Scirpus mariqueter in the Yangtze River Estuary

摘要:

氮过剩引起的水体富营养化已成为长江口面临的主要环境问题之一。本研究通过氮添加试验,模拟长江口不同浓度氮素含量对中国特有植物海三棱藨草(Scirpus mariqueter)生长及生理特征指标的影响。结果表明,随施氮水平的增加,海三棱藨草的生长总体上呈低浓度促进、高浓度抑制的规律。其中,100~200 mg·kg-1的氮素施加显著提高了海三棱藨草的各项生长指标和叶片叶绿素含量,与对照组(无施氮处理)相比植株高度提高约35%,植株密度提高约50%,总生物量提高约40%,叶片总叶绿素浓度提升约37%,且海三棱藨草植株的氮储量也在施氮200 mg·kg-1处理时达到最大值5.9 g·m-2,当超过该水平后,海三棱藨草的氮储量则显著降低。目前长江口潮滩湿地的土壤全氮含量尚未达到抑制海三棱藨草生长的水平,因此氮过剩的环境有利于其生长发育,并更好地发挥氮素吸收和净化功能。

Abstract:

Water eutrophication caused by nitrogen surplus is one of the biggest environmental problems in the Yangtze River estuary. A nitrogen addition experiment was conducted at the tidal marsh to investigate the effects of nitrogen addition on the growth and physiology of Scrirpus mariqueter. The results indicated that low nitrogen addition promoted plant growth, while high nitrogen addition inhibited the growth. Levels of 100~200 mg·kg-1 nitrogen addition significantly improved the growth of Scripus mariqueter compared to the control group, indicating the increases of plant height (up to 35%), plant density (up to 50%), total biomass (up to 40%) and leaf total chlorophyll concentration (up to 37%). The nitrogen content of Scripus mariqueter also reached the maximum of 5.9 g·m-2 under the addition of 200 mg·kg-1 nitrogen. At present, the soil total nitrogen content value of Yangtze Estuary is still lower than the level to inhibit the growth of Scripus mariqueter. Therefore, utilization of Scripus mariqueter will help to improve the water quality in the saltmarsh.
