Study on Effects of Selection of a Salt Tolerant Alfalfa Strain at Different Salt Stress

紫花苜蓿耐盐新品系选择效果的研究

Abstract: A new salt tolerant alfalfa strain was developed by intercrossing genotypes following 4 cy-cles of selection in saline field with 0.3~0.5% salt content during 1988~1994.Selection nurserieswere at ZhongJian friendly farm in Hebei province and at a farm of suburb of Dezhou city in Shang Dongprovince.The selechon effect of new salt tolerant strain was studied through pot test, strain comparativetest, production performance test during 1995~1997.Results showed:Dry weight of new salt tolerantstrain increased by 13.0% and 11.3% over that of Bao Ding affalfa in 0.3% and 0.4% NaCl stress re-spectively.Its dry weight increased by 11.1~l3.4%, plant heigh increased by 5.7~8.7%.overthat of Bao Ding in the strain comparative test in saline field in the suburb of Dezhou city.Its dry weightincreased by 18.2~29.0%, 18.3~33.6%, 37.5~80.3% over that of Bao Ding, BiLou, Long Dongalfalfas respectively in production performance test in saline field of Wu Di county of Shadong Province.Its dry weight increased by 9.0~18.0% over that of Long Zhong alfalfa in Lan Zhon test field.

摘要: 紫花苜蓿耐盐新品系(下称耐盐苜蓿)是以保定、南皮、RS和秘鲁苜蓿为亲本材料,于1988-1994年在河北省中捷农场和山东省德州市苗圃(土壤含盐量0.3-0.5%),通过四代混合选择而成。1995-1997年通过盆栽耐盐鉴定、品种比较试验和生产试验,对新品系耐盐性进行系统研究。结果表明,在0.3%和0.4%NaCl胁迫下,盆栽耐盐苜蓿的干重比保定苜蓿(对照)分别提高13.0%和11.3%。在山东德州(土壤含盐量为0.25-0.45%),产草量比对照提高11.1-13.4%。在山东无棣县(土壤含盐量为0.48%),产草量比保定苜蓿(对照)提高1.82-2.0%,比秘鲁苜蓿提高18.3-33.6%,比陇东苜蓿提高对.5-80.3%。在甘肃兰州,(土壤含盐量为0.206-0.743%),耐盐苜蓿比陇中苜蓿增产9.0-18.0%。试验结果表明,耐盐苜蓿新品系的选育效果良好。
