Studies on Climatic Suitability for Harvesting and Curing Alfalfa Hay in the Beijing Area

北京苜蓿干草调制期气候适宜性研究

Abstract: The studies on the eco-climatic suitability for harvesting and curing alfalfa hay of three-year-old alfalfa crops are aimed at improving the techniques needed in the alfalfa industry of the Beijing area. The results show that the daily rainfall insurance rate effectively guides the choice of the alfalfa harvest times. In the Beijing area, the rain normally teems in July and August.The first harvested alfalfa crop needs to be cured around ,the 10th of May, ensuring that the second harvesting alfalfa to be done before July. Curing of the third crop could be put off until the last ten day of August. However, the exact time for curing the third crop has to be considered in corrdination with the local weather forecast done to the rainy and clamp August. Curing could be done in small batches so as not delaying the growth of alfalfa for the curing of the fourth crop.

摘要: 针对北京地区苜蓿产业化有关配套技术的需求,以3年生紫花苜蓿为对象,研究苜蓿收获期气候的适宜性.结果表明:逐日降水量保证率对指导苜蓿收获期的选择是行之有效的;北京地区降雨多集中在7、8月,第1茬苜蓿干草调制应在5月10日左右进行,以确保第2茬干草调制在7月前完成,第3茬干草调制可拖延到8月下旬进行;并根据当地具体气象信息实施小范围分批作业,防止拖延时间太长,影响第茬苜蓿的生长发育.
