Purification Ability of Different Grasses to Eutrophic Water During the Cold Season

低温季节不同禾草对富营养水体净化能力的研究

Abstract:

In order to screen out the proper plant materials for the purification of eutrophic water in cold season, the nutrient uptakes and water purification abilities of Cortaderia selloana ‘Pumila’ and three Lolium multiflorum (‘Tetragold’、‘Jumbo’、 ‘Maximus’) growing in eutrophic water were studied. The removal efficiency of total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP), chemical oxygen demand (COD) in the water and nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) accumulation in the plants were measured as the indexes of evaluation of those materials. The purification abilities of these materials were significantly higher than the control. After 5 days of the treatments, the concentration of NH4+-N were close to 0, the TN , NO3--N and COD removal efficiency of C. selloana ‘Pumila’ significantly higher than other materials, The purification abilities of ‘Tetragold’ and ‘Jumbo’ was significantly higher than ‘Maximus’. After 20 days of treatments, the removal efficiency of TN, NH4+-N , NO3--N were more than 90%, and the removal efficiency of TP and COD were more than 79% and 59 %, respectively. The above-water dry biomass of these plant materials accounted for more than 50% of total dry biomass, and the N and P uptakes accounted for more than 80% of the total removal system, respectively. All the data indicated that, C. selloana ‘Pumila’, ‘Tetragold’ and ‘Jumbo’ can be used as proper plant materials for eutrophic water purification in cold season.

摘要:

为选出低温季节净化富营养水体的优势植物,对矮蒲苇(Cortaderia selloana‘Pumila’)和3个多花黑麦草(Lolium multiflorum)品种的水体净化能力进行了比较研究。处理5d后,供试植物的水体中铵态氮(NH4+-N)含量接近0,矮蒲苇对总氮(Total nitrogen,TN),硝态氮(NO3--N)和化学需氧量(Chemical oxygen demand,COD)去除率显著高于3个多花黑麦草品种;3个多花黑麦草品种中‘特高’和‘剑宝’的净化能力显著高于'美克斯'。处理20d后,供试植物对TN,NH4+-N,NO3--N的去除率达90%以上,对总磷(Totalphosphorus,TP)和COD的去除率达79%和59%以上;水上部干重增长量占增长总量的50%以上,植株氮磷积累量占总去除量的80%以上。表明矮蒲苇、‘特高’与‘剑宝’的净化能力优良,可在低温季节的富营养水体净化中进行推广。
