Ecological Adaptability and Cultivating Techniques of two Festuca Varieties

羊茅属两种牧草生态适应性及其栽培技术

Abstract: Festuca arundinacea and F.sinensis are two important Festuca herbs.Their ecological adaptability and cultivating techniques were explored in five different ecological regions,which include northern sub-tropical lowland and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.A study was conducted concerning the suitable amount of nitrogenous fertilizer to be applied to Festuca arundinacea crop in the northern sub-tropical lowland to ensure plant stability and fresh yield.The study also analyzed the effect of cover-seeding to the full seedling stand and the compensation growth of F.sinensis in the alpine grassland of the Qinghai Lake rim.The results show that F.arundinacea thrived in the northern arid and semi-arid regions and sub-alpine grassland of up to 2600 m above sea level,but could not survive the winter of Gangcha County,Qinghai Province,which is 3200 m above sea level.An optimal effect was achieved when 337.5 kg/hm2 urea was applied on the surface of a 2-year Festuca arundinacea grassland located in the northern sub-tropical lowland.Festuca sinensis,adapting readily to the alpine frigid dampness of the northwest,is an ideal Festuca variety for mix sowing.With colewort used as a cover-seeding crop,F.sinensis seedling was well protected,and the compensation effect endured.

摘要: 评价了中华羊茅和苇状羊茅在青藏高原等5个不同生态区域的适应性;研究了北亚热带低海拔地区氮肥施用量与苇状羊茅草地稳定性及产草量的关系,以及青海环湖高山草原区中华羊茅覆盖播种的保苗效果及补偿生长效应对草地建植的影响。结果表明:苇状羊茅在西北海拔2600 m以下的干旱半干旱区和亚高山草原区能良好地生长,在海拔3200 m以上的青海刚察高寒区不能越冬;北亚热带低海拔地区2龄苇状羊茅草地施尿素337.5 kg/hm2,肥料报酬率最高;中华羊茅在西北高寒阴湿地区适应性良好,是良好的混播草种;采用油菜覆盖播种,保苗效果好,补偿生长效应大。
