Breeding of Chamaecrista rotundifolia ‘Minyu 2’

闽育2号圆叶决明的选育研究

Abstract: In order to improve hay yield and palatability, the seed of Chamaecrista rotundifolia‘Minyin’was treated with radiation-induced mutations and Chamaecrista rotundifolia ‘Minyu 2’was selected and registered by the Chinese Herbage Cultivar Registration Board (CHCRB) in 2012. Variety comparison trial, regional and field trials were conducted from 2005 to 2011. Results showed that the hay yield of ‘Minyu 2’was 11000 to 14000 kg·hm-2 and the seed yield was 230 to 270 kg·hm-2 which were 18.31% and 6.38% higher than those of cultivar ‘Minyu’, respectively. Therefore, ‘Minyu 2’was an important aluminum-tolerance variety and was adapted to plant in tropical and sub-tropical regions such as Fujian and Guangdong provinces.

摘要: 为提高干草产量及适口性,2002年对闽引圆叶决明(Chamaecrista rotundifolia ‘Minyin’,CPI86134)种子进行辐射诱变处理,选育出闽育2号圆叶决明(C. rotundifolia ‘Minyu 2’),并于2012年通过全国草品种审定委员会审定。2005—2011年进行品种比较试验、区域试验和生产试验,结果表明:闽育2号圆叶决明干草产量为11000~14000 kg·hm-2,比对照品种闽引圆叶决明增产18.31%以上,种子产量为230~270 kg·hm-2,比对照品种增产6.38%,且为耐铝毒的决明品种,适宜在福建、广东等热带、亚热带(红壤)地区推广。
