Effects of Salt Stress on the Growth and Photosynthetic Physiology Characteristics of Zoysia japonica

NaCl胁迫对结缕草生长及光合生理的影响

Abstract:

The pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of different NaCl solution concentrations (0, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 mmol·L-1) on the growth and photosynthetic physiology of Zoysia grass (Zoysia japonica). The results showed that the relative growth rate, biomass and leaf relative water content of Zoysia grass under the NaCl concentration of 300, 400 and 500 mmol·L-1 were significantly lower than that of control in three observation periods (7, 14 and 21 d). In the meatime, the relative conductivity, MDA and soluble protein content of Zoysia grass increased with an increase of NaCl concentrations, and significant higher than that of control at 400 and 500 mmol·L-1 NaCl concentrations in the 21d treatment. The relative growth rate, biomass and leaf relative water content of Zoysia grass under 500 mmol·L-1 NaCl concentration were significantly reduced with stress time prolonging. The net photosynthetic rate(Pn), stomatal conductance (Gs), transpiration rate (Tr) and water use efficiency (WUE) of Zoysia grass gradually decreased with the increase of NaCl concentrations and significantly lower than the control at 500 mmol·L-1 NaCl concentration treatment. The intracellular CO2 concentration (Ci) and stomatal limitation (Ls) of Zoysia grass increased significantly at 500 mmol·L-1NaCl concentration treatment compared to the control in both 14 d and 21 d observation periods.

摘要:

为研究NaCl胁迫对结缕草(Zoysia japonica)生长及光合生理的变化规律,采用盆栽试验观测不同浓度(0, 100, 200, 300, 400和500 mmol·L-1)NaCl溶液处理对结缕草生长及光合生理的影响。结果表明:在NaCl处理第7, 14和21 d,当NaCl浓度为300, 400和500 mmol·L-1时,结缕草的相对生长速率、生物量和叶片相对含水量均显著低于对照;随NaCl浓度的增加,结缕草相对电导率、丙二醛含量和可溶性蛋白含量均有增加的趋势,且NaCl胁迫第21 d时,400和500 mmol·L-1 NaCl浓度处理使结缕草相对电导率、丙二醛含量和可溶性蛋白含量均显著高于对照。结缕草的相对生长速率、生物量和叶片相对含水量均随胁迫时间的延长而显著降低,结缕草相对电导率、丙二醛含量、可溶性蛋白含量均随胁迫时间的延长而显著升高。随NaCl胁迫程度的增加结缕草的净光合速率(Pn)、气孔导度(Gs)、蒸腾速率(Tr)、叶片水分利用效率(WUE)呈逐渐降低的趋势,且500 mmol·L-1 NaCl浓度处理比对照显著降低;分别在NaCl胁迫第14和21 d时,500 mmol·L-1 NaCl浓度处理与对照相比,结缕草的胞间CO2浓度(Ci)和气孔限制值(Ls)显著增加,说明盐胁迫对结缕草光合作用的影响在盐胁迫早期是由气孔限制导致的,在后期是由非气孔因素导致的。
