Analysis of Genetic Variation and Correlation of Growth Period and Agronomic Traits in Hybrid Progeny of Echinochloa

稗草杂交子代生育时期及相关农艺性状遗传变异分析

Abstract: To provide rationale underlying the germplasm innovation of Echinochloa, the genetic variance in the progenies of Echinochloa should be studied. In this study, the F2:3 and F2:4 progenies of the crossing made between Echinochloa frumentacea and Echinochloa crusgalli were used as research materials. The genetic diversity of 12 traits in the two populations was analyzed by using statistical methods. The results showed that the hybrid progeny had high genetic diversity and high coefficient of variation at heading stage and whole growth stage,, which could be used as selective traits for the creation of new germplasms in terms of growth duration. In addition, there was a positive correlation between growth stage (heading stage and whole growth stage) and other tested traits. According to the regression analysis, spike color, spike weight, plant height and leaf width were the key factors determining the growth stage. The progenies were classified into five Echinochloa groups with different growth duration by the cluster analysis based on the growth duration on the genetic distance of 28. This study provides a theoretical basis and rich genetic resources for further study on the germplasm characteristics and new variety breeding of Echinochloa with different growth duration in the future.

摘要: 为促进不同生育期稗草的种质创新、满足不同生境盐碱地的改良和利用提供科学依据,本研究以湖南稷子(Echinochloa frumentacea)和宁夏无芒稗(Echinochloa crusgalli)的杂交后代F2:3和F2:4作为研究对象,利用统计学方法对2个群体的12个性状进行了遗传多样性分析。结果表明:杂交子代的抽穗期和全生育期遗传多样性高、变异系数大,可作为不同生育期稗草新种质创制的选择性状。此外,生育期(抽穗期和全生育期)与多个性状间呈正相关趋势,结合回归分析可知,穗色、穗重、株高、叶宽是决定生育期的关键因素。在聚类分析中,基于生育期以遗传距离为28进行分类,获得5个不同生育期的稗草类群。为后续深入研究不同生育期稗草种质特性及品种创新提供了理论依据与丰富的种质资源。
