Tissue Structure Associated with Cold Resistance in Trifolium repens L. Cultivars

白三叶品种组织结构与抗寒性的关系

Abstract: In view of the cold resistance problem of introduced white clover using in gardening in northern China and the cold resistance advantages of native white clover,the changes of tissue structure and the adaptabilities of different white clover cultivars were studied under controlled low temperature conditions.The results show that the number and area of chloroplasts in palisade cells were related to the cold resistance of cultivars;changes of chloroplast structure in different cultivars were evident under cold stress,strong cold resistant cultivars kept the structure well comparatively under a given cold temperature range;the xylem ratio,phloem ratio,and vessel diameter in root were also associated with cold resistance of cultivars.Strong cold resistance cultivars had higher ratio of xylem,lower ratio of phloem,and narrow diameter of vessel.

摘要: 针对引进的白三叶(Trifolium repens L.)草坪品种在我国北方园林应用中存在的抗寒性问题,结合国产白三叶资源抗寒性优势,研究低温条件下,不同白三叶组织结构的变化特点和适应性.结果表明:叶肉栅栏细胞内叶绿体数和叶绿体面积与抗寒性有关;低温胁迫下,不同品种叶绿体结构变化最明显,抗寒性强的品种在一定低温范围内保持了较完整的结构;根结构中的木质部、韧皮部比率和导管直径也与抗寒性有关,木质部比率大,韧皮部小,导管直径小,品种抗寒性强.
