Abstract: Desmodium ovalifolium Wall.cv.Reyan No.16 was firstly introduced from Australia in 1981 and then its adaptability was evaluated in 1982-1984.Later,the variety comparative trial,regional trial,and productive trial were carried out during 1984-1987,1986-2004,and 1986-2005,respectively.The preliminary results show that D.ovalifolium Wall.cv.Reyan No.16 was adapted to warm and tropical climate with a reasonably high rainfall of morn than 1000mm,and could tolerate acid soils,especially in pH 4.5-5.0 acid soils.The comparative trial indicated that D.ovalifolium Wall.cv.Reyan No.16 had forage fresh yield of 36382.5 kg/hm2/a.,very significantly higher 38.76% than that of D.heterocarpon(L.) DC.which was native in Hainan and comparatively tolerated shade and appropriate for artificial pasture establishment mixed with other grasses.D.ovalifolium Wall.cv.Reyan 16 was suitable for being a intercrop in orchards and broad planting in tropical and sub-tropical regions in China.

摘要: 1981年从澳大利亚引入卵叶山蚂蝗(Desmodium ovalifolium)等18份热带豆科牧草种质,1982-1983年进行生态适应性评价,1985-1987年进行品种比较试验,1984-2004年进行区域试验,1986-2005年进行生产试验。结果表明:热研16号卵叶山蚂蝗喜湿润热带气候,适合年降水1000mm以上的地区生长,在酸性瘦土表现优良;草产量可达36382.5 kg/hm2/a.,高于对照(异果山绿豆)38.76%,耐荫性强,适合与禾本科牧草混播;主要用于人工草地建植和林草间作覆盖作物,适合在我国热带和亚热带地区推广种植。
