践踏强度对高羊茅与结缕草混播草坪质量的影响

Impacts of Different Traffic Intensities on the Quality of Tall Fescue and Zoysiagrass Mixture Turf

践踏是对草坪的一种重要胁迫。为探究高羊茅(Festuca arundinacea)与结缕草(Zoysia japonica)混播草坪的耐践踏性及不同践踏强度对混播草坪质量及土壤紧实度的影响,对混播草坪实施持续9周的4种强度践踏,即不践踏、每周践踏10趟、20趟和30趟,观测践踏处理期间草坪质量、均一性、盖度、土壤紧实度的变化特点。结果表明:混播草坪的质量、均一性、盖度都会随践踏持续时间而下降,但土壤紧实度增加;践踏强度越大,草坪的质量与均一性下降越快,土壤紧实度增加也越大。因此,轻度践踏处理(每周践踏10趟)对混播草坪的影响有限,中度践踏处理(每周践踏20趟)对混播草坪质量有一定的影响,践踏后期草坪均一性和盖度有所恢复,而重度践踏(每周践踏30趟)后草坪质量严重下降,且短时间内难以恢复。

Abstract:

Traffic is one of important stresses to turf. In order to explore the traffic tolerance and the impact of different traffic intensities on tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea) and zoysiagrass (Zoysia japonica) mixture turf, four traffic intensities including 0, 10, 20 and 30 times per week for 9 weeks were applied on the mixture turf, and the data of turf quality, uniformity, ground cover as well as soil compaction were collected and analyzed during traffic stress. The results showed that the turf quality, uniformity and ground cover decreased along with traffic stress increasing, whereas soil compaction increased. The higher the traffic intensity was, the quicker the turf quality and uniformity decreased and the soil compaction increased. It was concluded that light traffic stress had little impact on the tall fescue and zoysiagrass mixture turf. Moderate traffic stress had impact on the mixture turf to some degree, but turf uniformity and ground cover could be recovered a bit at the later stage of traffic stress. The heavy traffic stress destroyed the mixture turf and the turf quality could not be recovered in the short term.
