Comparison of Vigour Test Methods in Tall Fescue Seed Harvested at Different Time

不同收获期高羊茅种子活力测定方法的比较研究

Abstract: During the seed ripening process of Safari and Fawn tall fescue,seven methods of physiology and biochemistry were used to determine the vigour of tall fescue seed harvested at the different ripening sages in 1995 andl996.The results showed that accelerated ageing test and ATP content test were better methods to determine the seed vigour of tall fescue.Full ripe seeds should be tested in the methods ofconductivity test,germination index and vigour index.Green emergence test and thousand-seed weight testcouldn’t describe the change of seed vigour.

摘要: 通过七种生理生化方法测定1995和1996年不同成熟时期收获的Fawn和Safari高羊茅种子活力。试验结果表明,加速老化和ATP含量法是测定高羊茅种子活力的较好方法,电导率、发芽指数和活力指数测定应以完全成熟的种子为宜,而温室出苗率和千粒重的测定效果不佳。
