Alfalfa Climatic Subdivisions in China

中国苜蓿综合气候区划研究

Abstract: Based on the database from 2000 meteorological stations in China,the alfalfa climatic subdivisions was synthesized by using Geographic Information System(GIS).Six climatic regions were identified for climatic suitability of alfalfa,region Ⅰ and Ⅵ were identified as least suitable regions for alfalfa planting and counted about 46.14% of total state land areas;the other four regions were climatic suitable areas and about 53.87% of total state land areas.Regional Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ were traditional alfalfa planting areas,which occupied about 43.29% of total state land areas;Ⅴ region was sub-tropical area for moisture and heat resistance varieties.According to the climatic suitability,variety performance test,and fall dormancy characteristics,the suitable alfalfa varieties were recommended for different climatic regions.

摘要: 以近2000个气象台站(哨)的气候数据为依据,以地理信息系统技术为平台对我国的苜蓿(Alfalfa)进行了单项气候和综合气候区划。我国苜蓿综合气候区划共分为6个区域,第Ⅰ,Ⅵ区域为不适合种植或极少有适合苜蓿品种的区域,占国土面积的46.14%。其他4区从气候上适合于苜蓿生产,占国土总面积的53.87%;Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ区域属于传统苜蓿种植区,占国土总面积的43.29%;Ⅴ区主要位于亚热带,耐湿、热品种在本区域种植具有广阔的前景。结合苜蓿品种的气候生态适应性、品种试验结果和秋眠性等级等,对各区域适合种植的品种进行了推荐,这对于指导我国苜蓿生产具有应用价值。
