Study on the Total Saponin Contents of Different Alfalfa Silages

不同品种苜蓿青贮总皂苷含量变化的研究

Abstract:

The colorimetric method was used for the quantification of saponin. The total saponin contents of 5 different alfalfa (Medicago sativa) cultivars with two moisture contents and additive levels were investigated in order to provide a certain basis for the quality and safety of alfalfa silage. The results show that the total saponin contents of tested alfalfa cultivars before ensilaged are 8.0~10.0 mg·g-1, ‘402MF’ cultivar has the highest total saponin contents (9.93 mg·g-1), ‘Dormancy 6’cultivar has the lowest one (8.27 mg·g-1), indicating the genetic diversity of tested alfalfa cultivars. The total saponin contents of silages are significantly higher than before ensilaged (P < 0.05), the biggest difference exists in multifoliate alfalfa silage comparing with before ensilaged. The total saponin content of silage with high moisture content is higher than that with low moisture content (P < 0.05). And the total saponin contents of silages with additives are significantly lower than control under the same moisture content (P < 0.05). In a word, the total saponin contents of silage increase comparing with before ensilaged.

摘要:

采用比色法测定5个不同品种苜蓿(Medicago sativa)在2种含水量与添加剂处理条件下青贮前后总皂苷含量,研究其总皂苷含量的变化规律,以期为苜蓿青贮质量安全方面提供一定的依据.结果表明:青贮前5个不同品种的苜蓿总皂苷含量在8.0~10.0 mg·g-1之间,其中‘402MF’含量最高,为9.93 mg·g-1,‘Dormancy 6'最低仅为8.27 mg·g-1,表现出遗传差异.青贮后的总皂苷含量显著高于青贮前(P < 0.05),青贮前后‘多叶'紫花苜蓿总皂苷含量相差最大,达5.82 mg·g-1.含水量高青贮总皂苷含量高于含水量低青贮(P < 0.05);而同一含水量青贮下植物乳杆菌剂和干酪乳杆菌剂总皂苷含量显著低于对照(P < 0.05),其中含水量高青贮下,‘多叶'紫花苜蓿变化最大,干酪乳杆菌添加剂比对照低20.6%.表明苜蓿青贮后会增加其总皂苷含量,高含水量青贮要比低含水量的青贮变化大.
