Study on Rhizomes Extensibility of 11 Wild Kentucky Bluegrass Collected in Gansu Province

甘肃地区11个野生草地早熟禾材料根茎扩展性研究

Abstract: In order to select Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) with strong rhizomatous expansion ability,a pot experiment was conducted to investigate the extensibility of wild Poa pratensis from 11 different habitats in Gansu Province. The results showed that among the 11 tested materials,Poa pratensis (Sunan) had the highest tiller number,Poa pratensis (Yuzhong) had the largest rhizome extension distance,aboveground plant volume,rhizome plant number,rhizome volume,rhizome surface area,the longest rhizome diameter and stem length,Midnight Poa pratensis had the largest coverage area per plant and rhizome number. Aboveground expansion is proportional to underground expansion. The order of the rhizome extensibility of the studied wild grasses was:Poa pratensis (Yuzhong) > Midnight Poa pratensis > Poa pratensis(Qinzhou) > Poa pratensis(Sunan) > Poa pratensis (Qingshui) > Poa pratensis (Lingtai) > Poa pratensis (Weiyuan) > Poa pratensis (Kangle) > Poa pratensis (Xihe) > Poa pratensis (Tianzhu) > Poa pratensis (Xiahe) > Poa pratensis (Anding).

摘要: 本试验采用盆栽单株种植方式,对甘肃境内11个不同生境野生草地早熟禾(Poa pratensis)的根茎扩展性进行了比较研究,以期筛选出根茎扩展能力强的材料。结果表明,供试材料中,草地早熟禾(肃南)单株分蘖数最多;草地早熟禾(榆中)根茎扩展距离、地上植物量、根茎植物量、根茎直径、根茎体积和根茎表面积最大,茎节最长;午夜草地早熟禾单株覆盖面积最大、根茎数量最多。地上扩展性与地下扩展性成显著正相关;根茎综合扩展性强弱依次为:草地早熟禾(榆中) > 午夜草地早熟禾 > 草地早熟禾(秦州) > 草地早熟禾(肃南) > 草地早熟禾(清水) > 草地早熟禾(灵台) > 草地早熟禾(渭源) > 草地早熟禾(康乐) > 草地早熟禾(西和) > 草地早熟禾(天祝) > 草地早熟禾(夏河) > 草地早熟禾(安定)。
