Assessment onthe Feeding Value of Plant Waste of 21Tropical Garden Species

21种热带园林植物废弃物饲用价值评定

Abstract: The purpose of this paper was to evaluate the feeding value of plant waste of the tropical garden species. The nutrient composition,in vitro gas production,in vitro dry matter digestibility and metabolic energy of plant pruning waste of 21 common garden species in the tropics were determined through the general nutrient analysis and in vitro gas production test,and the feeding value was comprehensively evaluated by analytic hierarchy process (AHP).The results showed that there were significant differences in the main nutritional components in the pruning waste of the 21 garden plants,among which the content of crude protein (CP) was the highest in Pyrostegia venusta (Ker Gawl.) Miers (19.84%);the content of acid detergent fiber (ADF) was the lowest in Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L. (12.41%),and the content of neutral detergent fiber (NDF) was the lowest in Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L. (9.25%). The content of tannin (TT) was the lowest in Ruellia simplex C. Wright (0.35%),the highest in vitro gas production (GP) is Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L. (55.40 mL),and the plant waste of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L had the highest in vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD). (67.90%). The outcomes of evaluation on the feeding value showed that the plant waste of Hibiscus rosa-sinensisL. had the highest nutritional value (56.97),and Hibiscus rosa-sinensisL. had the highest feeding value (43.60). In general,Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.,Ruellia simplex C. Wright,Pyrostegia venusta (Ker Gawl.) Miers,Jasminum sambac (L.) Aiton,Cordyline fruticosa (L.) A. Chev.,Carmona microphylla (Lam.) G. Don and Bauhinia×blakeana Dunn had higher feeding value,which possess a high potential for animal feed utilization. Meanwhile,Cocos nucifera L.,Rhapis excelsa (Thunb.) A. Henry,Alpinia zerumbet 'Variegata' and Ixora chinensis Lam. did have a lower comprehensive forage value,not suitable to the development as a feed resource.

摘要: 本试验旨在评定热带园林植物废弃物的饲用价值。通过概略养分分析和体外产气试验,测定了热带地区常见的21种园林植物修剪废弃物的营养成分、体外产气量、体外干物质消化率和代谢能,再用层次分析法(Analytic hierarchy process,AHP)对饲用价值进行综合评价。结果显示:21种园林植物废弃物的主要营养成分差异显著,其中粗蛋白质(Crude protein,CP)含量以炮仗藤(Pyrostegia venusta)最高(19.84%),酸性洗涤纤维(Acid detergent fiber,ADF)含量以朱槿(Hibiscus rosa-sinensis)最低(12.41%),中性洗涤纤维(Neutral detergent fiber,NDF)含量以朱槿最低(9.25%);单宁(Tannin,TT)含量以蓝花草(Ruellia simplex)最低(0.35%),体外产气(In vitro gas production,GP)产量以朱槿最高(55.40 mL),体外干物质消化率(In vitro dry matter digestibility,IVDMD)以朱槿最高(67.90%)。饲用价值评价结果显示,营养价值以朱槿最高(56.97),饲用价值以朱槿最高(43.60)。综合来看,朱槿、蓝花草、炮仗藤、茉莉花(Jasminum sambac)、朱蕉(Cordyline fruticosa)、基及树(Carmona microphylla)、红花羊蹄甲(Bauhinia×blakeana)具有较高的营养价值,饲用价值高,有一定的开发利用价值;椰子(Cocos nucifera)、棕竹(Rhapis excelsa)、花叶艳山姜(Alpinia zerumbet)、龙船花(Ixora chinensis)的综合饲用价值较低,不适合作为饲料资源开发。
