Abstract: In order to solve the weed problems during the seedling stage of alfalfa(Madicago sativa L.)in hilly area of South Jiangsu Province,three companion crops,annual ryegrass(Lolium multiflorum Lam.),triticale(X Triticosecale Wittm.) and tall fescue(Festuca arundinacea Schreb.),were evaluated for their fitness and sowing rate by alfalfa yield and plant height as well as weeds emergence.Triticale(cv.Zhongxin 830) and annual ryegrass(cv.Ganxuan No.1) had better performance as companion crops during alfalfa establishment,and the combinations were broadcast sowing of alfalfa at 16.7 kg/hm2 + annual ryegrass(Ganxuan No.1) at 25.0 kg/hm2 and strip sowing alfalfa at 16.7 kg/hm2 with 40cm row spacing + inter-row sowing triticale(Zhongxin 830) at 266.7 kg/hm2.The sequence of better weed control of the studied companion crops was as follows: annual ryegrass(Ganxuan No.1)>triticale(Zhongxin 830)>tall fescue.

摘要: 为解决苏南丘陵区紫花苜蓿(Medicago sativaL.)苗期的杂草问题,选择多花黑麦草(Lolium multiflorum Lam.)、小黑麦(X Triticosecale Wittm.)、苇状羊茅(Festuca arundinacea Schreb.)3种作物作为紫花苜蓿的伴播作物,实施不同间、混作方式,通过测定分析产量、株高、杂草量等多个指标,筛选该地区适宜的紫花苜蓿伴播作物及其播量。综合表现较好的伴播组合为:16.7 kg/hm2紫花苜蓿+25.0 kg/hm2赣选一号多花黑麦草,撒播;16.7 kg/hm2紫花苜蓿+266.7 kg/hm2中新830小黑麦,紫花苜蓿行距40 cm条播,行间条播小黑麦。3种伴播作物对紫花苜蓿和杂草的抑制作用大小依次为"赣选一号"多花黑麦草>"中新830"小黑麦>苇状羊茅。
