Effects of Drying Reagents on Seed Yield and Quality of Medicago sativa

干燥剂对紫花苜蓿种子产量和质量的影响

Abstract: Effects of MgClO4,K2CO3 and EP on water-losing rate of stem and leaf,seed yield,thousand kernel weight,and germination rate of Medicago sativa L.were studied.The results show that MgClO4 was the best drying reagent.After foliar spraying 1.2% MgClO4 and 0.9% MgClO4 at pod setting stage,water-losing rate of stem and leaf increased,drying time in field shortened,seed yield were 799.63 kg/hm2 and 742.14 kg/hm2 respectively(increased 72.85% and 60.42% compared with CK).This drying reagent had no side effect on seed quality of M.sativa.K2CO3 could increase water-losing rate of stem and leaf,but it had negative side effects on seed quality of M.sativa.EP had no effects on water-losing rate,seed yield and TKW,but it could elevate germination rate of seed at certain degree.

摘要: 研究干燥剂MgClO4、K2CO3和EP对甘农3号紫花苜蓿(Medicago sativa L. cv. Gannong No.3)茎叶失水率、种子产量、千粒重和发芽率的影响。研究结果表明,在3种干燥剂中,MgClO4的干燥效果最好。成熟期叶面喷施1.2%MgClO4和0.9%MgClO4后,甘农3号紫花苜蓿茎叶的失水率增大,牧草在田间的晾晒时间缩短,种子损失减少,种子产量分别为799.63 kg/hm2和742.14 kg/hm2,比对照提高72.85%和60.42%。该干燥剂对紫花苜蓿种子的饱满度和质量无负面影响。K2CO3的干燥效果较好,使牧草的失水率增大。但并未因牧草在田间的干燥时间缩短而使种子产量提高。这种干燥剂对甘农3号紫花苜蓿种子的饱满度和发芽率有不同程度的负面影响。EP对甘农3号紫花苜蓿的茎叶失水率、种子产量、千粒重均无影响,但种子发芽率有不同程度提高。
