Influences of Different Drying Treatments on Alfalfa Hay Nutritional Value

摘要: 为探索适合内蒙古地区苜蓿(Medicago)干草田间调制的关键技术,以草原2号苜蓿(M. varia ‘Caoyuan No.2’)为材料,采用4种物理处理方式即对照、压扁、切短、切短+压扁,以及2种化学处理方式即喷施干燥助剂碳酸氢钠和碳酸钾溶液,喷施剂量分别设为0%, 2%, 2.5%和3% 共4个梯度,采用正交试验设计,进行苜蓿干草田间调制试验。结果表明:喷施2.5%碳酸钾溶液结合压扁处理的苜蓿干草营养成分含量损失较少,其粗蛋白(CP)和总可消化养分(TDN)含量分别为18.56%和53.79%,均显著高于其他处理(P<0.01)。因此,喷施2.5%碳酸钾溶液结合压扁处理进行苜蓿干草田间调制,可在内蒙古地区推广使用。

Abstract: In order to search the key technology of making alfalfa hay in the Inner Mongolia of China, the Medicago varia ‘Caoyuan No.2’ was taken as the study object in this paper. Four physical treatments including control, compressing, cutting short and cutting short+compressing and two chemical treatments such as spraying chemical drying agents (potassium carbonate solution and sodium bicarbonate solution) were designed by orthogonal experimental method. Results showed that spraying 2.5% potassium carbonate solution combined with steam-pressing could keep the nutritive value of alfalfa and improve the quality of alfalfa hay. The crude protein (CP) content and total digestible nutrient (TDN) content of this treatment were 18.56% and 53.79%, and were significantly higher than that of other treatments (P<0.01)。Therefore, spraying the chemical drying agent of 2.5% potassium carbonate solution combined with steam-pressing could be used for making alfalfa hay in Inner Mongolia area.
