Abstract: In this study, some enzyme activities of tall fescue seed of the harvested year during germination under different accelerated ageing periods are discussed. By analysing the activities of phosphoglucose isomerase(PGI), malic dehydrogenase(MDH)and combined glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase and 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase(G-6-PDH+6-PGDH), we found that, the activities of phosphoglucose isomerase in tall fesce seed decreased and malic dehydrogenase incredased during germination in each accelerated ageing period treatment. At the present time of combined activity peak of glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase and 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase was peostponed and decreased during germination with the inreasing of acceleraled ageing period treatment. The activities of phosphoglucose isomerase, malic dehydrogenase , and combined glucose 6-phosophate dehydrogenase and 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase decreased remarkably with the increasing of accelelerated ageing period. This reflected the fact that the activities of respiratory pathway:glycolysiis(EMP), kreds cycle(TCA)and pentose phosphate(PPP)droppe in acceleraed ageing seed, and this was the one reason for decreasing of germination speed and germination rate of accelerated ageing seed.
