呼和浩特地区‘WL’系列苜蓿表型与品质指标综合分析

摘要: 为了更好地筛选出高产优质、适应性强的苜蓿(Medicago sativa L.)品种材料,提高苜蓿产量和新品种选育效率,本试验以单株种植在内蒙古呼和浩特地区的11个‘WL’系列紫花苜蓿品种为材料,通过变异系数分析、相关性分析、聚类分析等方法对其主要表型和品质指标进行分析和评价。结果表明,苜蓿品种的表型和品质性状的变异系数介于2.86%~22.62%之间,变异系数最大的是干重,变异系数最小的是中性洗涤纤维。相关性和主成分分析得出株高、茎直径是影响草产量的重要因素,叶茎比是影响苜蓿品质的主要因素。聚类分析可将11个‘WL’系列的苜蓿品种划分为3类,其中,第Ⅱ类材料可直接应用于生产或可作为高产、优质品种遗传改良的亲本材料,第Ⅲ类中的品种可作为优质苜蓿育种的材料进行进一步挖掘和互补利用。

Abstract: To better screen high-yield, high-quality, and adaptable alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) varieties and improve alfalfa yield and new cultivar breeding efficiency, the individual plants of 11 ‘WL’ series alfalfa varieties planted in the Hohhot region of Inner Mongolia were utilized in the experiment. The main phenotypic and quality indicators were analyzed and evaluated by using methods including coefficient of variation analysis, correlation analysis, and cluster analysis. The results showed that the coefficient of variation for the phenotypic and quality traits of the alfalfa varieties ranged from 2.86% to 22.62%. The trait with the largest coefficient of variation was dry weight, while neutral detergent fiber (NDF) was the smallest. Correlation and principal component analysis revealed that plant height and stem diameter were important factors affecting forage yield, and the leaf-to-stem ratio is a major factor influencing alfalfa quality. Cluster analysis classified the 11 ‘WL’ series alfalfa varieties into three groups. Among them, the Group II materials can be directly applied in production or used as parental material for the genetic improvement of high-yielding, high-quality varieties. The varieties in Group III can be further explored and utilized complementarily as breeding material for high-quality alfalfa.
